I would suggest joining a local bank and depositing your funds into that financial institution. Then you can transfer your funds via web, phone ap, or by phone call.

I established a checking account with a local bank. I then set up that bank with my USAA accounts so that I can electronically transfer funds to the appropriate account. Since there is no hold time for cash deposits transfers are immediate.
Maybe not the best solution but the best one I could come up with.
I receive free checking from my local bank because of my work status (first responder). Many banks also give free checking to military personnel.

Question

Can I deposit >10K checks using Easy Deposit

Using Deposit@Home, I am limited to depositing checks that are <$10K. Does this restriction apply to using UPS stores for the Easy Deposit service? If not, what is the check amount limit for Easy Deposit?

Not sure of the limit but do not worry. 10 grand is no biggie because I just deposited a $43000 dollar check there myself with no problems at all. So go deposit it. :)

Easy Deposits have a different deposit limit than mobile and can be used for larger amounts. For checks larger than $10,000, customer service will tell you to go to UPS.

Can you deposit the checks thru your phone with a USAA app or try scanning it to your computer to deposit it? You can also try putting the checks in the USAA envelopes and mail them to your account. Sorry, hope you find a solution!

I am expecting a large sum, more than the mobile deposit allows. Can I still use the easy deposit or should I mail the check directly to USAA Bank?

I had a similar situation and used Easy Deposit since I've never been comfortable putting an endorsed check in the mail. It worked great and the money was in my account right away. Depending on the amount, they may put a hold on a small portion of the amount for a few days. I did call USAA before using Easy Deposit and if I recall correctly the check amount must be no more than $999,999.

Based on my experience, I'd recommend you use Easy Deposit since the check will be deposited immediately.

I too had a large check that I needed to deposit. I sent it to USAA via USPS in their pre-printed envelope. It has been 7 business days since mailing, and still not deposited. I am now in panic mode. I called USAA and they told me that Easy Deposit via UPS will accept large deposits, greater than the Mobile Deposit limit. So, from now on, I'm using Easy Deposit via UPS!

I called USAA and the answer was no and maybe. You can not use direct deposit, but you MAY be able to use a UPS store. I was told by USAA some have a check limit, but they can not tell which ones. (that seems......) Any who my local UPS allowed me to deposit 23K no problem. If it is cashiers or certified mail certified not worth the hassle.

Certain UPS stores will allow you to deposit cash. The easiest way to find one of these stores is to call USAA and they will tell you where it is located.

Hello, you can make a deposit at home by scanning a check to your computer and deposit it on the USAA website. Log into your USAA account then click on the "My Account Tab", then under Deposits, Click, "Deposit@home". You can also take a picture of your checks (one check at a time) with your IPad or IPhone and deposit it that way, just make sure you download the USAA app to your IPad and IPhone. Hope this helps!
