An easy way to do this is to sign up for Account Alerts. To do this and for more information on the types of alerts, go to your main banking page (where all you accounts are listed), click on the account where the deposit is coming (presumably your checking account). This will take you to a page showing your transactions, with tabs for account details, how you spend, and account features. Click on Account Features, then go down to Account Alerts and select the appropriate alert and alert method. When the deposit posts USAA will notify you using the method you selected.

Not using Easy Deposit. The Easy Deposit system works something like a cash register at a grocery store, except instead of taking money from your account, it puts the money there. Trying to deposit using this system without the card would be like trying to buy something at a store with the card you left at home.

No, the ATM card is needed for UPS to scan and apply the check to the proper account.

In order to use Easy Deposit you will need to have your ATM/Debit card (so the clerk at the UPS Store can pull up your account info and select the account to deposit into) and the check. The amount of the check shouldn't matter, but you do need to have the ATM/Debit card.

You also need your USAA debit card.

Make sure the checks are endorsed on the back and then just go to a participating UPS store.

They'll handle the rest.

Western Union but they charge a 11.99 fee. If you mainly deal in cash for deposits I would suggest a local bank in your area. I know it sucks but that is the only thing I could think of

In my experience you need to get a money order and then mail that in with a deposit slip. I wouldn't send cash through the mail.

yes, you just have to be sure to use the routing number and account number shown on your account home page. I have done this with two different employers without any issues.

I wanted to participate in a group gift for my nephews birthday and I had to call and get the account number to deposit even though we all have USAA. I personally thoguht that was annoying but still it was really quick and easy once I had the acct number. The gal from USAA was soooo kind, as they always are. Good luck.

Just go online at USAA.com and set up other member's account as an "External" account. After USAA verifies the account, drop down menus let you transfer out of your account to theirs. Just hit "Transfer Money" icon beside your account name.

Go online and link your card to USAA. I know they will let you transfer funds from USAA to your card but they will charge you a fee for a bank transfer to USAA. You will have to go to the greendot website and enter your USAA info to link the accounts.

Use your cash advance feature. Search "cash advance" in top right corner, when logged into your account. Go to Credit card cash advance, then on the next screen click on "Use a non-USAA MC"
You enter the card number, and the amount etc... =)
Green dot charges a fee of 2.50, although they say they dont...they do! =/
so if you have 500 on your green dot you can only transfer 497.50

Call USAA and get a new card. You have to have the ATM card to make a deposit at the UPS store because they have to swipe it to put the money in your account. Everything is electronic these days....

I do not believe you can make a deposit at a UPS Store unless you have your ATM/Debit card with you. If it has been lost or stolen, they can issue a replacement.
